Doing business with us

Please Read!  2/27/2022

We have been recently informed of numerous business fraud attempts in the medical marijuana industry.  While we are not a dispensary, we share the same core name as the Native Roots dispensary in Colorado and as a result, our name has surfaced in fraudulent hiring notices.  Please note that Native Roots, Inc. is not currently hiring. We highly advise that you do NOT provide any of your personal information to anyone claiming to be Native Roots, Inc.    You can report fraud to the Federal Trade Commission by visiting ReportFraud.ftc.gov.

Our 2022 inventory should be available in April.  Our 2021 plant list on the Products page is a good place to start although availability changes every year.  If you know what you are looking for, please send us a list and we will determine what is available and in what quantities.  If you aren't sure what you are looking for, send us the general conditions of your planting area (Sun / Moisture) and we will help you determine what may work well in your conditions.  Once the details are determined we can arrange a pickup at our nursery by appointment.  Or, come visit us at one of our market days or other plant sales (see Events) to talk with us in person. Jen and I are dedicated to other full time jobs during the work week so email us and we will respond when we can!  Our mom, Diane is also available to advise on inquiries.  We also hope to offer open house hours occasionally at the greenhouse, as time allows. We are thankful that you are choosing native plants and contributing to ecological restoration.  Its a great decision and every yard matters!

The "Landscaping for Biodiversity with Ohio Native Plants" document created by Cleveland Metro Parks (available below), provides details about plant size and color. An excellent resource!
